NYX Lipsticks Narcissus & Thalia

My first NYX lippies. Found them in a local mall and who am I to resist.

The color selection wasn't all that good so I just settled for 2 colors that I had seen frequently online.

Swatched On Hand (Narcissus on Left, Thalia on Right)

Narcissus on Lips:

Thalia on Lips:

Price 5/5
It's cheap. I believe I bought them around $2 each or something like that which is really a bargain since you get 4g or 0.14oz You can get them online also around that price, even cheaper probably but you'd have to pay shipping :/

Packaging 3.5/5
These are the round labels ones. Which means the lipstick tubes are black, round shaped, with a sticker on the top with the color and clear on the bottom so you can see the color. Nothing special.

Product: 4/5
The NYX lipsticks are pretty moisturizing and the color goes on smoothly. It's buildable and on the creamy side, not sheer at all. Narcissus is really bright and pretty much the bright bubble gum color you see. Thalia was a bit darker on my lips than I expected and was a little brown-ey but wearable. I didn't notice any scents and it wears really well.

Overall : 4/5
For the price, it's a quality product that delivers. When I am searching for a different color or if I stumble onto a greater selection I will definitely indulge.

EMR 2: Etude House Mascara Remover One shot Clean

The second part of the series...so quickly too! :O is another Etude House product, a dupe of the Lancome Bi-Facil me thinks

Etude House Mascara Remover One shot Clean:
I gotta wonder...do they have to make it sound soo fobby? one shot clean? really? -_-
Description:

One shot remover designed especially for mascara- removes heavy, hard to erase eye makeup in one quick & easy step.

Packaging: 4/5
It's PINK! Does anything else need to be said? Well yes..the EMR itself is pink! As you can see, it separates into clear and pink and shaken up is a light pink! hehehe It's a normal water bottle esque cap. The opening was small since I used the GWP size but I'd imagine its bigger on the full sized.

Product: 4/5

So like the Bi-facil, you have to shake it up to mix the 2 different liquids since they separate. It has an extremely light flowery alcoholic smell but you would pretty much have to sniff at it to smell it.

The test: (used Wet N Wild Gel Eyeliner & Maybelline Waterproof Full N Soft)

WnW on the right & FnS on the left

After 1 swipe:
Result: Also leaves a light oily finish due to the oil in the product. I personally prefer it to the Lancome because it feels a little less oily.

Value: 5/5

4,000Won (~$4) for 80ml

I think it's a great deal if you buy it at retail. But like all Etude House, once it leaves Korea, it's no longer an amazing deal xD

Overall: 4/5
All in all it's a great emr for a great price. It gets the tougher eye mu off without leaving a really oily residue. If i could find it at or near retail price, I would quickly pick them up.

EMR 1: Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover

Realized I had quite a few eye makeup removers and figured I would do a string of Eye Makeup Remover reviews. Starting off with the highly popular, award-winning (from Allure & Glam.com)
Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover:

Description (official):
Double-phase, fresh-as-water liquid eye makeup remover.

Activates when shaken to gently whisk away even waterproof eye makeup, while conditioning and refreshing the skin. Ideal for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers. Leaves eyes feeling cool and relaxed, with no oily residue. Ophthalmologist-Tested For Safety.
Packaging: 3/5

Pretty, elegant blue bottle packaging with the Lancome rose design in the front. Has those "Turn while pushing down" caps that click when you don't push down. Nothing particularly special imo.

Product: 4/5

So you have to shake it up to mix the 2 different liquids since they separate. It has a floral-y smell which I believe is the normal Lancome scent not particularly strong but enough where you notice it exists.

The test: (used Wet N Wild Gel Eyeliner & Maybelline Waterproof Full N Soft)

WnW on the right & FnS on the left
After 1 swipe:
Result: Leaves a slightly oily finish due to the oil in the product. I personally prefer not to use oil based emr because I don't like the oily feeling that it leaves afterward and I also don't like how it spreads the makeup everywhere making it look like I got socked in my eyes but it does do its job very well.

Value: 2/5

$26 for 4.2 oz

I think you can ignore my rating because I personally would never pay that much for an Eye Makeup Remover partly because I don't really use a separate eye makeup remover unless I wear a ton of eye makeup which is rarely so I still have a ton of them lying around but mostly because I always steal them from my mom when she gets them for free as GWP, although they aren't full sized. It's 1.7oz

Overall: 3.5/5
All in all it's a good emr. It gets the tougher eye mu off but I personally would not purchase because that price is deal breaker.

Recent Haul-age

I know I haven't been faithfully updating but updates shall come soon. It's been (and still will be) a busy week. >__< Until then, here's some pictures of things to come aka recent haulage :)

NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils in Black Bean, Milk & Cottage Cheese and a strawberry lip balm (which was a freebie..yay!) My first NYX products so I am beyond excited to try these out :)

Skincare from Korea:

Innisfree Olive Real Skincare line - Highly raved, extremely popular line. I'm using it right now in my night care regime so I shall update in a few weeks.

The Face Shop Arsainte Eco-Therapy Extreme Moisture Line - Rather recent line. Also highly raved & extremely popular. I'm saving this for when the skincare I'm using runs out so we'll see how that goes.

BB Cream + Foundation:

Lotree BB cream and Coffret D'or Beauty Essence Liquid Foundation. I've tried both but I want to do another usage or so before a review.

That's hardly all of the makeup I've bought recently but I'm just too lazy to update. ^^" Next up should be the Rock & Republic Blush review which I just need to add pictures. Hopefully by this weekend :)
