April Haul!
I went to the mall today because I wanted to pick up a blush from So Cute collection, but after swatching it, I was totally disappointed and passed :( I picked up Tarte Amazonian clay long-wearing blush in Exposed instead. I thought it was crazy cuz last time I went to Sephora to get foundation matched, the SA sat me down and gave me a full face with primer, foundation, blush & bronzer and since I had breakouts around my cheek, she told me that I should try a different blush and recommended me the Tarte one and how it was all natural and would not cause break outs etc. and I figured I would get it the next time I went in. Then I went online and like every blog that I was following started reviewing it and I was surprised... but yeah I picked up Exposed cuz I don't have any color like it and I liked how it looked on.
And I also stopped by ULTA to use a 20% off coupon and didn't really see anything in the regular nail polish section that called to me and I went by the clearance corner and there were a TON of polishes and I couldn't resist picking these up. The crazy thing is these are all firsts for me in nail polish. My first Essie, China Glaze, & Piggy Polish O_O weirdd...
The colors I picked up were:
CG - Swing Baby & Midnight Mission
Essie - We Can Do it Pink! & Scarlet O'Hara
Piggy Polish - Summer SOLE-stice
They averaged out to a little more than $3 a nail polish so I didn't think I did too badly xD
Also hauled Lady Gaga 2, Angel, Coygirl, & Gingerly from MAC
and finally got my hands on Colour 4 Quad which is a great neutral quad :D & NARS Turkish Delight!
And also my mini Sephora Chic Week Sale items I picked up:
Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm in Lemon & Chamomile (it smells AMAZING and definitely worth the raves its been getting)
Boscia mini Cleansing Oil
Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller (from Ulta)

BB Creams
What is BB Cream?
BB Cream (blemish balm) was developed by a German dermatologist as a balm for those patients who underwent laser surgery as it combines soothing and skin regenerating properties while masking scarring and redness. It was further developed and marketed in Korea to be more of a cosmetic item and when news that this was the beauty secret of Korean actresses, it quickly became THE must-have makeup in Korea with the rest of Asia following.

The great thing about BB Cream is that it's usually an all-in-one product. While benefits vary from brand to brand almost all claim skin regeneration, anti-aging, wrinkle improvement, firming properties and SPF while evening out skin tone, covering imperfections and providing an overall flawless complexion. It's a tinted moisturizer of sorts that provides very natural no makeup look. It can be worn alone, over a primer or under foundation. I personally use it as a primer and put foundation over it.
All BB Creams are different and now the market is filled with different brands and formulation. It's pretty overwhelming to find the perfect one or even one that works for you. Select which features you're looking for. Many contain similar properties such as whitening, anti-aging and wrinkle reduction, SPF but others are more specific such as hydrating creams for dry skin and oil controlling creams for oily/combination. Some have heavier coverage and different finishes. Remember to choose one that's right for your skin type (dry, oily, normal, or combination), although I find most are targeted for all skin types. Also keep in mind that BB Cream typically comes in one shade, though there are brands that offer a selection...usually 2. Most BB Creams will adjust to your skintone within 10-15 minutes after application but for darker skin tones you may have to hunt down bb creams that have dark shades.

Gmarket Haul
So supposedly gmarket was offering a discount on overseas shipping til April 15th (not sure if this is/was true) but ended up ordering anyways.
The HUGE EMS delivery box =D. I gotta say I'm impressed with the shipping. For myself at least, it was sent out from Korea on the 13th and arrived on the 18th. So it only took 5 days, including going through customs. Of course it might help that I'm on the West Coast ^^
A lot of it was clothing like tights & scarves for my mama
but some of the stuff was mine:
skincare samples, hairbands, clio eyeliners, skin79 bb cream, & tights. I'll take pictures wearing the hairbands & possibly the tights later. ^_^ So far I'm extremely pleased with my haul and might do mini reviews later as well
