Maybelline the Falsies Mascara

Another Maybelline mascara. Did anyone else notice that there was a ton of new mascaras released within a month or so? Anyhow, this mascara got a ton of good reviews so I really wanted to try it.

Err this brush is hard to photograph because it doesn't really show up that well in pictures but it's pretty wide but thin.

My mascara checklist:

1. volume (gotta thicken those sparse Asian lashes)

2. curl

3. lengthening

4. non-smudging/non-clumpy/non-flaky with a drier formula (this isn't as important cuz I just wait a little bit after opening to dry out the formula a little)

Meh, I'm not that impressed. It sort of clumps my lashes together to give it a thicker look (which is fine) but it does flake a little. There's a bit of a learning curve in using the brush and it's not as easy and hassle-free as I like my mascara to be. I prefer this over the one by one but honestly it's nothing groundbreaking and it's not even that impressive so I won't be repurchasing.
